The grappa produced is available from La Crotta di Vegneron in 6 varieties that apply the traditional methods to give the different distillates a unique flavour and authenticity.
Each grappa brings with it different characteristics and aromas, able to recall multiple scents and aromas to the nose and mind. Thus the Müller Thurgau grappa reminds us of ripe Williams’ pears, Muscat strikes us with the fragrances of sage and thyme; Chambave Muscat Flétri, intriguing and gracefully contoured, offers us an enviable mixture of scents that suggest freshly harvested Muscat grapes, vanilla and ripe apricots; or then there is the Malvoisie grappa from which come flora fragrances, particularly wisteria. The Fumin grappa is unmistakeable with its spices and a final flavour of berries. Lastly, from the grappa Petit Rouge & Vien de Nus come fragrances of ripe rennet apple followed by mountain hay.
Grappa is traditionally produced in our mountains, an ideal digestif, transparent nectar, with a subtle aroma and dry flavour.
