Vineyards
Our vineyards lie along 20km of the central valley, from Saint Vincent to the border between Nus and Quart. 90% of the vineyards are south facing (left bank of the valley) and 10% have a northern
aspect (right-hand side of the valley). They are at an altitude ranging from 450m above sea level rising to 800m on the left side of the valley and 650m on the right side.
The average gradient of the slopes varies according to the vineyards, ranging from 20% to 35%. Conditions and gradients that make the production of La Crotta di Vegneron an exponent of “heroic” viticulture, in
the face of extreme soil microclimate conditions.
